Can you post a link to a pic of project similar to what you have in mind? Sounds like concrete could impede drainage a good bit.

I haven't priced that stuff in probably a decade or more. Back then the stained concrete was about $5-6/ft.

Maybe our next home in about a year. This is the starter home we bought 9 years ago when we got married. Home value doesn't dictate this value of landscaping.
