Cushing, Oklahoma - the world's largest oil storage facility

They say this place is very close to filling up. That means too much supply and cheaper prices.

They fly choppers over it twice a week with infrared equipment to see how full they are.

Check out that runway strip. Some big planes fly in there.

It's a pretty miserable place. If you ever want to get crazy on Google Earth with oil and gas shite hover over Denver City, TX and peep all the pads lined up like cookie cutter subdivision homes.

It is pretty bad. I always stayed in Stillwater whenever I had to go.

That was a cool shot of Denver City. They have two runways.

Driving into Denver City on one of those farm roads you see pump jacks just lined up and down right next to each other, it's insane. Most of those West Texas towns are like that to some extent but for some reason DC always seemed more so.

All those little towns have private airstrips too

My grandparents from my dad's side are from Cushing.


It's known pipeline crossroads of the world due to all that damn oil.
