Auburn leadoff man reaches on an error, but is erased with a 6-4-3 double play.

0-0 heading to the bottom of the 1st

BASEBALL - Capital City Classic - Auburn vs. Alabama
The Iron Bowl of baseball...

Auburn has dominated the recent portion of this series, but it always seems to be a good game.

Good luck to both teams...

Isn't this considered an exhibition game and not count?

It is not exhibition, but it does not count as a conference game, since it is outside of the conference schedule.

Looking like auburn and bama are switching places from preseason predictions so far in this early season. Will be interesting to see how both teams continue to develop.

Auburn is throwing their best pitcher. He has 9 strikeouts and has only given up 2 hits through 5 innings. Auburn is leading 4-0 going to the top of the 6th inning

4-2 Auburn, Top 7

Alabama still going with Castillo. He wasn't used much over the weekend, but still surprised to see him going this long.
