Meh. I'm glad they pulled the most chicken shite move in the history of college football. It reveals their true character. That's worth whatever they owe us, IMO.

More like 100,000.

Aggies seem to increase it by an additional $1000 since joining the SEC.

We owe them a wedgie, a noogy, and 3 swirlies, but 5 in a row will do just fine.

What do you call Running away from the Big 12 because big bro was too much of a bully?

Yes, we canceled our series with them when Arkansas and SC came into the league and the number of SEC games increased. We settled with them, but they were extremely upset and their retaliation was to never play us again. Wasn't a money issue. It was the easiest way for LSU to meet its conference obligation.

Just like today, its not a real "money" issue. The powers at LSU felt betrayed by Chavis. Chavis does have a contractual obligation. Most schools hold you to it, then settle. LSU would have settled at some point. However, Chavis and A&M are in a mess because of the date of resignation. He either owes the money or A&M is on the hook for recruiting violations.

The other part that is comical is trying to sue in Texas State court. Venue is identified on Chavis' contract as it is in all contracts.

Meh. We offered to play them and they refused. LSU was mired in the mediocrity that suits their program and their coach believed he couldn't build a successful program starting 0-1 every year something he knew would continue to happen as long as A&M was on the schedule.

Surprised aTm doesn't take a lesson out of LSU's book and pull this same move. 0-4 over the past 4 years...maybe one day they'll learn to stop picking on big brother..or maybe they'll just steal his boxing gloves and finally put up a fight. Only time will tell

Your coach said he couldn't build a successful program starting 0-1 every season. Fact.

What does any of this have to do with running away from a conference because big bro was the favorite?
