And if you have ever wondered why MSU has always been a pushover, its because we have fans like this. First two comments on the story.
I love MSU, but I hate our fans sometimes.

The Backstop, a concept similar to The Gridiron in the north end zone of Davis Wade Stadium, is an area that can be enjoyed before and during the game by season ticket holders. Members, (who must also have a chair back season ticket) will have the opportunity to be as close to the action as possible and stand behind home plate at a standing rail when the club is open. The Backstop requires a $200 deposit and will be priced at $600 per season pass for the inaugural year.

A $20,000 deposit is required for the Left Field Lofts™. The cost of each unit will be $50,000 per year with a minimum commitment of five years plus a monthly service and maintenance fee. Since access to the Lofts will be outside the stadium, Loft patrons will not be required to have a ticket to enter that area even on game days.

I don't attend baseball, but if I did, I would tell Strickland and the rest of those clowns where to stick it. Ridiculous.

MSU just priced the average fan out of Duly Noble. Now it's all about the money.

Can you at least narrow down what state this is to be built in?
ETA: guess I should have waited a minute for the edit.

Field Lofts are a unique addition. Looks cool.

I think it's awesome that MSU is doing all those upgrade and I hope Foley is watching and loosening his grip on the coffers.
That's really cool. I'd like to see a game there when it's done. Do they cowbell there too?

They had to get rid of those trailers somehow.

So, are lofts actual apartments, that people live in year round?

Q – What is the building behind the Left Field LoungeTM?
A – The concept is to build skyboxes in the outfield, but ones that have usefulness beyond baseball gamedays. We call them the Left Field LoftsTM, 1,000-square-foot suites with balconies. In addition, the Left Field LoftsTM have two bedrooms, a kitchen and a common room that make them livable space throughout the year. It’s a revolutionary concept that will add to the uniqueness of Dudy Noble Field.

I think the LFL would be pretty cool, but man that seems like alot of money for a baseball suite. That's almost $2K per game. How far is it from the football stadium? Guess if you could stay there during football season as well it would justify it a little more.

Without the deposit, it's $4166 per month for a two bedroom loft. Yeah, it's cool for the games but that's a lot of coin for a two bedroom especially in Starkville. I can only see corporate money being spend there but does Starkville have that much corporate money to go around?

i'd love to have one of those lofts so i could bang my s.o. infront of the window... i promise someone will do it

My thoughts exactly. $4K a month is the mortgage on a small mansion. It also looks like the lofts only have a small patio, no actual seats outside.
While there current setup is an eye sore, I actually think it's pretty cool.

Where will they play during construction?

I am guessing most of the lofts will just be split between several people. It won't be very many single people footing the whole bill.
Grind ranters will be crashing Allyn McKeen's place.

Very cool concept.
How many lofts are gonna be available for rental?
Maybe a bit expensive though, and a little impractical.
