The real question to ask is whether Mike Dubose or Mike Shula could win a National Championship at Alabama with Coach Saban's players

Gary Pinkel
Steve Spurrier
Hugh Freeze

............
Mark Richt and Les Miles already have very similar talent levels yet underperform with the given talent.
They should be competing in the SEC championship game every other year at least.

Guess I would have less confidence in either Dubose or Shula if I was closer to the Bama program. For some reason, I think Shula could have gotten it done.

All of them

Hell... anyone with any football sense not named Mike Shula could. It's not a very hard job

You guys are missing the obvious troll.

The OP did not include Gus in an effort to troll us Auburn fans.

Sorry but it did not work.

I take the question to be who could go to Bama and BUILD a NC team.

On that basis I'd say Pinkel and Spurrier.

You think UGA, or any school for that matter, has "similar talent" to a team that has had the #1 recruiting class for something like 6 of the last 7 years?

Recruiting services aren't infallable. There isn't that much of a difference between top 5 classes.

There's a hell of a lot of difference in a #1 ranked class and one ranked 10th though. Especially when that's what those schools are bringing in every year.

A difference sure. A hell of a lot of difference, I don't buy. I think its disingenuous to say LSU and UGA don't have comparable talent to UA.

Hey Larry, quick question... are you Larry Leo? Who is Larry Leo? I need to ask this man a question. It is kind of important. I will be forever grateful if you could point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

There are what, at least two times that come to mind where if Georgia had gotten a lucky break they would have been in the national championship game?

I think Richt probably does not get enough credit. If they had pulled off the win in the championship game vs. Bama, I have no doubt they would have rolled Notre Dame.
