Is it better to beat Kentucky in basketball or Alabama in football?

Football, it is much more impactful. Texas A&M has been living off of beating Bama for like 3 years now.

Probably depends on what game it is. Ohio St beat bama and advanced to the championship.

Alabama in football and it's not even remotely close. I've seen Ole Miss play UK twice in my life in basketball and both times Ole Miss has won. One being a last second three by Chris Warren to beat Cal's first Final 4 team. I've been to the last three games Ole Miss has beaten Alabama in football and it is WAAAAAAAAY more gratifying.

Considering we beat Kentucky twice last year and haven't beaten Bama in 8 years..... I'll go with beating Bama in Football.

In general, it's better to win football games just because they are fewer and more important. Beating Kentucky this year, though, and stopping the undefeated season would be absolutely huge.

Bama. Beating Ky doesn't change things a whole lot but beating Bama can put you on the plus side of winning the division.

Yeah me too. To break KYs streak would be fun but I'll take a royal arse whipping Saturday if it ensures a bama win in the fall, our football team needs that psyche boost more than the basketball team needs to beat KY.

Hell, so has Auburn, Ole Miss and OU.
The only team who hasn't done that is Ohio State, for obvious reasons.
