Does the loser fall off the bubble?

I think they are 46 and 49 in rpi right now.

It's a big game for both, and both feel like they need 2 of their last 3. It's damn important for LSU to hold home court for their RPI. Home losses count more than double as bad as road losses so we cannot afford another home loss.

If LSU wins we've got the season sweep with identical records and we're in the driver's seat for the Double Bye in the SEC Tournament. Which will really help out come Selection Sunday IMO.

I am assuming you are talking about Ole Miss? Why do you think that? Your rpi is like 46. If you lose to LSU, you will probably drop into a tie for 4th place in the SEC. That seems like squarely on the bubble to me.

Before last night it was 34. Losing to UGA isn't going to drop us that much.

A lot of basketball left to be played in terms of the bubble. Big 10 and Pac 12 have more bubble issues than SEC right now.

According to ESPN, it is 46 right now...

Even so, ESPN still has us as an 8 seed ahead of A&M and LSU. We aren't on the bubble.

Huh? I didn't post any bracketology. I just posted the rpi numbers as ESPN is reporting them.

I think if we lose we'll be a small satellite bubble trying to cling to the big bubble

We'd just about have to win our remaining games and/or have a decent showing in the SEC Tourney to get in. At Arky's gonna be tough....

Suppose Ole Miss loses to LSU but beats Bama and Vandy, finishing with 21 wins and 4th or 5th in the conference. I am guessing their rpi would be in the 40s. You don't think there is any chance you fail to get an invite with that resume?

Those home losses to Charleston Southern, TCU (4-12 in the Big 12), and Western Kentucky are killing y'all right now.

Depends on what teams in other conferences do but yeah if all else equal we are in with that scenario IMO.
