If murder was legal for a week, how many people would you murder?

You mean like "The Purge" for one solid week? A free-for-all for seven solid biblical days?

Would we have time to prepare or would it happen all of the sudden-like?

I mean what are the parameters of this purge of which you speak? You know, the rules.

A week, but let's say you have three weeks to think about it.

Some people deserve it. I can think of many.

None, cause I'm not some sadistic frick who needs laws to dictate his morals. You're literally saying the only thing keeping you from becoming a serial killer is the law. Or would you be a spree killer? Either way, your Arky arse is fricked up. Too much meth.

None because it's still wrong. I would just protect myself from crazies who wanted to kill me

The Purge is an interesting concept ... the book dealt far more deeply with the actual law, as presented in the book, than did the movie.

Government officials are, of course, off limits by any stretch of the imagination. That's a given and goes without saying. Don't even go there.

So we're back to the whole "Purge" concept except instead of a twelve hour period we're talking about seven straight days.

I dunno. I may know one or two asshats who probably deserve it - but I'm one of those who believes in letting karma take care of things, live and let live and let God sort it out in the end.

Still yet, in all likelihood, those of you 30 years young and younger will likely witness, first hand, social meltdown of some sort during the course of your lives. Violent social meltdown either on a municipal, regional or national scale. I'm preparing my kids and grandkids ... hunkering down and living relatively remotely is probably something some may want to think about. We're actually on the edge now - it wouldn't take much to push us over.

I would say if I had lots of time to plan and research I would take out as many people who were responsible for killing children and got away with it.

But I really wouldn't need to because I'm willing to bet that the police that had to sit by and watch the people get away with it would be way ahead of me in line to take care of that business
