RPI taken from ESPN

Looking at each teams resume....
At this point, Kentucky is a lock.
As of now, Arkansas is a lock.
As of now, Ole Miss is in.
As of now, Georgia is in.
As of now, LSU is on the bubble and needs no more bad losses
As of now, aTm is on bubble and needs good wins

Arkansas Razorbacks
Record: 20-5(9-3)

Georgia Bulldogs
Record: 16-8(7-5)
RPI: 31
Vs. RPI Top 50: 2-3
Vs. RPI Top 50 on road: 1-1
Vs. RPI Top 100: 6-5

Good Wins: @WVU, @Ole Miss, UMass, Georgia
Bad Losses: Auburn, Miss State, @Missouri
RPI 100+ Losses: 3

OVERVIEW
Arkansas and aTm are the only teams without actual "bad" losses. LSU as a team, has the worst collection of 100+ losses of teams trying to get in. aTm is the only team with no "big" wins. Ole Miss has arguably been the hottest team as of late.

LSU has aTm, Gators, Ole Miss, and Hawgs left of last 6 games. They can make it or break it in this stretch. They need to win at least two of these. All four would catapult them up the seedings.

I've got LSU finishing 3-3

Wins: Florida, @Auburn, Tennessee
Losses: @aTm, Ole Miss, @Arkansas

IMO that would get LSU an 11 seed. LSU absolutely CANNOT lose @Auburn

LSU will be above Ole Miss and Georgia bc of head 2 head and top 50 record.

Georgia really fricked up yesterday. They went from safely in to the good side of the bubble with one game.

At this point, Lsu is running out of chances to improve their resume. Those three bad losses to Auburn, State, and Mizzou are killing them right now.

Right now LSU isn't and has an RPI low enough to be left out all together. Ole Miss is playing arguably the second best ball in the league at this point. 6-1 in their last 7 league games.

Why is rpi more important than bpi? To me it seems like bpi takes more into account.just wondering

I'll take LSU > Ole Miss at home.

And a revenge game with aTm.

BPI isn't even used.

It's a made up ranking system by ESPN

Arkansas was a top 30 BPI team last year and left out.

Probably the most worthless ranking out there but ESPN boasts it because it's theirs.

LSU is going to need an RPI in the 30's to get in the dance with all their bad losses.

Ole Miss seems to play very well away from home. That's why I like them against LSU.

Lsu's RPI dropped with a win yesterday. They have a lot of work to do. Not even on the bubble at this point.

Ole miss is good but I think we match up well against them. Now A&M I am worried about.

LSU is really talented though. If they get in the tourney, I could see them winning 2 games

I honestly feel like any of the SEC teams who have a good shot at getting in can make a good run.

They have a couple talented players but they have no depth. Hard to win two games in three days with no bench.

That's probably the only knock I've got on our teams in this league.

Outside Kentucky and Arkansas, there are no teams deep on the bench.

I see us losing to UK and @ OM, but beating Carolina and Mizzou at home. We must win either at Bama or at AU. If we split and all the above happens, that would put us as 19-11 before the conference tourney I think with an RPI of 30ish.
