What's up with this guy?
I understand he needs to pump up Ole Miss and Miss State given his audience...but his homerism is getting out of hand. Three weeks ago, he was saying AK might need to be out at Ole Miss...now he is talking about OM being a top 2 or 3 team in the SEC in basketball.
He talks constantly about the MAGICAL seasons that Miss State and Ole Miss just had in football (with 3 and 4 losses respectively...lol) and about the direction of the programs. He was actually on the show a few days ago bragging about Ole Miss and Miss State being in the top 5 of recruiting football for 2016....LMAO....went on and on about it...as if it matters right now with some teams only having 1 or 2 players committed. One would assume he would have the intelligence to see that Alabama is out of the top 30 right now, so it's a LITTLE early to draw any conclusions about 2016...lol
Finally, there is a large LSU fanbase in the area. But ole' boy HATES LSU...will not include them in anything positive....when he talks about Ole Miss and State moving up the SEC ladder in recruiting...he won't mention LSU as one of the top recruiting teams....despite them being about an average 6th nationally over the last 4 or 5 years.......and recently he brought on Mike Detillier and tried to lead Mike into agreeing with him that LSU just signed a poor recruiting class because of not many DT's and no LB's......Mike put the troll in his place though.....
In summary, what's the story on this hack? I know he graduated from MSU....but honestly, I think he is more of an Ole Miss fan...or he comes across that way. Did he play sports? Did LSU whip his arse every year? For whatever reason, he hates him some LSU (I guess for good reason, Miles is 16-4 against Mississippi Schools)...but to be a good radio host, one would think you would want to be objective, especially if said fanbase has a lot of alumni in the area....just my two cents. I know this is the Rant and not likely to get serious replys...but just curious about this host. He clearly has an LSU agenda....and just will not mention them anything positive. Maybe it's the reverse direction of TSUN....maybe he is TSDS....lol

I know it's hard to comprehend, but it is a sports talk show in MISSISSIPPI! What do you think he is going to talk about? 80-90 percent of his listeners are Ole Miss and State fans. Of course, he is going to talk those schools up. If you want LSU sports move to Louisiana or listen to a Louisiana station. All that being said, I don't care for Bo Bounds at all.

I'm an LSU transplant in Jackson for a few years. I accept his State and Ole Miss love for what it's worth. He has some quality weekly guests who I enjoy listening to. Overall, I like the show...however, I want to punch my radio out when he does his fake, retarded laugh at the dumbest stuff

He tries to be the Paul Finebaum of Mississippi. He trolls each fanbase all of the time just to get ratings. Finebaum actually stands by his statements every now and then. Bo Bounds flip flops all the damn time so he can piss off one fanbase or the other for ratings.

I think I mentioned that in my post....it's easy to comprehend. Some of us actually enjoy objective talk shows...and respect it. I didn't think I'd get many good replies on here, but was hoping for a few. There is a large LSU contingency in the area as well....that was all I was saying....don't have to pump up LSU...but show a little bit of respect.

Yes, My sirus ran out and now I have to listen to the local guys....I don't find him very objective....and I have MUCH more respect for objectivity. I know you guys hate LSU....ha...but to leave them out as one of the top programs over the last decade in terms of success and recruiting is a damn joke....and that sort of sums up Bounds, imo.

He only mentions LSU when it's something he can take shots at. Several weeks back...he made a HUGE deal out of the Brick situation....coming on saying "man, what is going on down at LSU"....as if to say the school is falling apart. I believe Miles obviously had a plan all along there....Bounds had no clue...other than to try and infer LSU was falling apart.
Then, he brings on this guest trying to get him to criticize the LSU recruiting class. This idiot Bounds says all LSU got was a bunch of athletes.....he failed to mention that LSU probably got the best group of OL, as a whole, in the nation...he did little to NO research to understand that maybe LSU was already stacked with a lot of young DL's, and that 2016 was a big year for them at DL and LB....I don't know....this trolling shite is for the birds....maybe some enjoy that...I enjoy hosts that know their shite and aren't afraid to speak the truth. I had the free SIrus for the year with my new purchase....I guess I'll have to pay for it now if I want to get quality, objective discussions. To me...yes a little like PF...but he also tries to be a little like Colin....he brings on guests that will support whatever opinion he has....as if to cement what he is saying is correct. I loved it when MD all but told him he was flat out wrong.

My brother lives on Brandon and listens to Bo all the time. In my experience listening to him and from what my brother tells me, he gives the Tigers their due. Even said that some of the ole miss/state fans up there don't really like Bo because he gives the Tigers so much credit.

Well, don't listen to his show. Being a State fan I wouldn't expect local shows in Louisiana, Alabama, etc. to talk much about MSU. We have a decent fanbase in Birmingham. Do the Birmingham stations talk much about State? Nope, just Alabama and Auburn as well it should. My point is you live in a state with two SEC programs in it. You shouldn't hear much about LSU.

Bo Bounds is a talk show host in Mississippi. Why would he talk up a program in another state? Everyone outside of Lsu fans can see that y'all are trending downwards, hence his subtle jabs at Lsu the last couple of years.

One of the schools claims LSU to be it's biggest rivals. LSU has a large alumni base and is as close as Ole Miss, and not much farther than State to the Jackson area. LSU is a top national program. Just a few thoughts.

LOL, sort of like 2008 and 2009 right? They will be loaded this year with experience, for a change, just had a great recruiting class, and 2016 has the state of Louisiana loaded with talent...yes, they are trending downwards. Funny that LSU's bad years are generally equal to or better than those of Miss State and Ole Miss. Oh, and btw, where in my post did I say he should talk up LSU? I simply said be objective.
