And Brannigan, and GenesChin, and probably a few others.

Thought I'd have some fun

You can't give him credit for Byron and you know it. Hell I'm a damn good spinner and I can't even bull shite a way for Garner to get credit. Garner was never the lead recruiter for Byron. Horton was before we got Boom then Boom took over.

On Tega we would have had to shoot ourselves in the arse to not get him so don't give Garner credit there either.

Now all the papers are in I can say it. A number of posters on here were right. Garner virtually did squat for this class. He has a chance and position to make up for it in 2016 though.

Cowart didn't come because of Garner.

Yep, pretty much sums it up. Garner needs to pull in a couple of Rochester/Jackson/Marshall (or equal level DT) along with some solid DE next year. Might be time to look at a change at DL coach if he doesn't. Some folks go way overboard criticizing his on the field coaching, but he is pretty much slightly above average there at best. So if he's not recruiting at a high level there is not much point in having him on staff.

I'm really excited about Johnson and Lawrence. Two under the radar guys getting a shot to perform. Really interested to see if they can "develop".

But others were too critical of his coaching ability?

If someone else is the lead recruiter for a Dlineman and we miss, Garner is blamed. But if we get a Dlineman with someone else being the lead recruiter, he doesn't get the credit.

Also if a guy isn't ever coming to Auburn and we miss, Garner is blamed. If a guy was coming to Auburn and we get him, Garner gets no credit.

Pretty much a no win situation for Garner. every complaint I've ever seen was because of the lack of Dlineman we've landed not because of the guys he personally recruited.

For my curiosity.and forget the rabble rabble you just posted.

Are you saying Garner really deserves the credit for Cowart?

Not sure how much help it did but I have corrected every one of those situations I have seen posters do.

I've never seen a breakdown of recruits he was personally responsible for.

Never did a full breakdown. Just addressed recruits individually as they were brought up. For example, we are #3 right now for Marlon Davidson. Cheese was the lead there til he was fired. I pointed that out a few times. Garner is the lead for the Georgia 2016 kids we are in good shape with though.

Don't care about '16. We don't know the results of those.

How can we know how he is as a recruiter until we break that down?

You refuse to answer because you know the truthful answer would not favor Garner.

What I'm saying is I have broken it down in my head. Just never put it in post form.
