This would be a boom of epic proportions.... To have him and toliver in the same class?
That being said it makes sense if he did come since we send so many DBs to the league. However I think he stays on the west coast

You really have no clue do you!!! Chavis handled the LB's and schemes. He was not irreplaceable. In fact I would venture to say from an X and O standpoint his schemes are outdated.
Corey Raymond is still our secondary coach and we got an upgrade at DL coaching by hiring O.
Everything I have heard, read, and seen points to Steele being a damn good LB coach. His schemes are better than Chavis'. The only question mark is his in game adjustments.
People are pretty stupid by automatically assuming we step back on defense. I personally feel like Ed O will get his DL to get pressure and that alone will hide some ineptness if Steele isn't all he is cracked up to be. Our secondary is lights out and if you know anything about coverages it relies on ability and technique and Raymond is a master at putting both on the field
