Bama fans kindly shut the frick up.
For ole miss it has to be "Why don't we recruit bigger power backs?". As if we don't try and as if our offensive line could block for them if we had them.

A person (from any fanbase) that claims they don't cheat in some way during a recruiting cycle

For Georgia, it's always the offensive line and our lack of ability to land tackle prospects for whatever reason.

I haven't seen that from out fan base on this board, but I've absolutely seen it on other SC boards and yes, that's probably the most annoying thing. Although, some of those guys they've talked about do come to SC as preferred walkons, and I can recall at least one of them earning a scholarship.

Please there are many that complain even when we are #1 for many years running saying we need better recruiters if a recruit goes somewhere else. BAMA isn't for everyone and that is OK, but not to all. Some are never happy and are miserable to have as a fan.

I'm all for that sort of arrangement. My thing is just that UGA (or USCe, etc.) football scholarships aren't HS achievement awards. The UGA 247 board is all about this Brad Stewart dude right now.

I feel ya. A lot in MS were that way about Darrell Henderson this year. He couldn't get an SEC offer though and just committed to Memphis.

Our fans assume all of our top recruits are a big package deal just because they interact with each other a lot. It's been that way the last couple years too it seems like.

Assuming that every recruit in the state has some sort of particular allegiance to UGA when in reality they are likely to be transplants from another area of the country / not even follow college football long enough to have a favorite team

Holy frick. Change black to blue, and that is every damn poster on our Scout site. It drives me up a fricking wall. A lot of them say stupid things like "I'd sign a 2* from Grenada over a 4* from Georgia any day." It makes me want to vomit.

For Bama is is usually pass rushers and safeties.
My pet peeve (and Bama fans do it too) is when some fans make excuses for why player X isn't going to the favorite school of the fan. "His handlers got involved...he'd prefer to come here", "He can't handle the competition", "School X is paying him/negatively recruiting my school/whatever".
There are times when those reasons are true, but mainly the kid just prefers some other school. Deal with it.

That's not even the worst. What drives me fricking crazy is when some dude claims "he could be just like Rhett McGowan for UGA. He should get an offer." They're trying to justify a scholarship offer by comparing the kid to a walk-on.

Alabama fans find a way to suck the joy right out of recruiting the #1 class. "Sure, this class is good on paper,but it doesn't compare to ______." I've even seen some idiot bama fans who will complain about our #1 class lacking "star players."

lol that's easy, it's happening right now,,, every year you hear the same idiots choad on about how "pinkel makes the ranking system a joke" and now that pinkel has recruited a handful of star-stat players they're pissing their panties with excitement. Suddenly "STARS DO MATTER!"
