This guy is doing a job he had 15 years ago. Talk about a step back.

Yes, with Marc Trestman as HC. But, even with that, Kyle Fuller looked like a solid rookie last year.

considering all the shite going down in chicago, the defensive side at least hung together all year, unlike all the back-stabbing between offensive players and coaches. so, for that reason alone, i kinda liked Mel. dat defense though, woof.

But is he a 3-time national champion at three different schools?

Didn't think so.

Point Barn.

Hopefully he lets our DBs know that they have necks and their head can turn around to look for the ball.

Got to rebuild your career sometimes. He's at Alabama coaching the secondary just like Kiffin and cristobal are. Trying to revive their careers by doing things differently through a winning pattern. If Alabama talent can revive his career while him guiding them in the right direction it's a win win win for tucker Saban and the players

I thought saban was the DB coach or is that just when the secondary is good.

I like this hire. I'm happy Bama has a seasoned, veteran coach at this position.

He didn't rebuild. He started over.

I've always thought Saban worked more with the safeties. Could be wrong though
