Honestly, I'm less interested in how he will help our recruiting and more interested in whether or not he will develop those recruits into badass, mother efffing, Courtney Upshaw clones. We were already doing just fine in recruiting. Touting the recruiting skills of a guy who came here under a bit of a cloud, recruiting-wise, doesn't excite me. I want to read about how he's going to improve the play of our OLBs.

I didn't think that our LBs were bad this year. Sure, they were spotty some times in coverage, but as far as physicality goes, they were on point. There was bound to be some growing pains after losing one of the best MLBs in Alabama history. Our problem wasn't linebackers in 2014.

It was one of many. Having LBs that aren't bad isn't good enough. I want to read about the guys ability to develop these guys into the studs we have come to expect. We have had and would have continued to have #1 recruiting classes with or without him. I want to know that he's going to be an upgrade on the field. Maybe he will be. I hope so.
