They're currently #87 in the country and last in tSEC (according to the composite.) UF has eight commitments, one four star and seven three stars. I was a little surprised that Coach Mc didn't go for a recruiter at OC, like Napier, since it's his offense the OC will be running.

Two of the big three (Ivey, Cowart, Cece) appear to be headed elsewhere

How will UF finish this class? Predicted ranking? How many recruits will they take this cycle?

They're still holding out hope that they land all of the big guys left. I personally don't see that happening though. They'll get a few, but not close to all of them

I'm thinking they all go to UF anyways.

Ivey is going to UF unless something crazy happens in the next 10 days. Everyone knows it.

Cowart is clearly about 50/50 so who knows.

And anyone that thinks they know what Jefferson is going to do is lying, either to you, or to themselves, or both. But all of these players have visited UF more than any other school. That, in recruiting, usually tells you something.

UF is very much in it for guys like Francois, Van Jefferson, Jordan Scarlett, Jordan Cronkite, Dinson, Fenton, Callaway, etc.

UF's class, outside of maybe the big 3, isn't going to have the star power they normally do because of the damage Will Muschamp caused to this program, but they are probably going to fill up on a bunch of 3 star guys and finish with about 20.

It's going to be a big finish for Florida.

That's why I directed it as more of a general "let's talk" as opposed to "Gator fan(s), tell me about your recruiting." I'm just baffled by it TBH. I can't remember the last time UF was ranked so low in recruiting rankings two weeks before NSD.

When was the last time UF had a coach as bad as Will Muschamp? You'd have to go back to the 1970s.

The other thing though, is even a lot of the 2nd tier guys UF is pursuing now won't be announcing until close to signing day.

Florida will easily be the biggest mover on signing day. I would be surprised if they finished outside of the top 25.

I am very interested in how their new head coach does on the recruiting trail, but I don't want to do any pre-judging yet so I am going to wait to see who he gets to sign and then use that as a first gut feeling and then let 2016 do the telling.

You guys have had to blow it up & start all over similar to UT, but it won't take more than two years for y'all to get back to the upper echelon. I think CJM is a great hire & y'all will be back sooner rather than later...

I expect possibly one of the worst classes we have had. As a program we are getting close to rock bottom. The good thing is that when we find a good coach we will return to the top quickly. We will see if it is McElwain or not.
