Who would those schools be?

I would replace aTm with Texas with a relative quickness.

However, if I could replace 2 schools, I would 86 the Mississippi schools and bring in Duke & UNC..........

Easily. Texas > Texas A&M

Essentially, A&M is to The University of Texas what UL-Lafayette is to LSU.

While I have nothing against either Vandy or State,,, replacing either of them w/ a Div1 school from North Carolina would be a huge marketplace win for the conference.

Letting Texas into the SEC would be like having unprotected sex with a trailer lot whore, maybe you won't pick up a deadly STD but why risk it?

We can't lose Vandy, their private school status is too important.

If I was in a cruel mood I'd suggest swapping Arkansas and Texas, we would be able to sleep walk our way to double digit winning seasons every year and in a few years time the Aggies and Mizzou would jump ship just so they won't have to put up with the Horns.

1. A&M with Southern Mississippi (pre losing era) ....would be some good cruitin battles between MS schools and being that close to LA,FL, and Bama.

2. A&M with Baylor
