Agreed. AAU, super rich base, is kinda a sleeping giant of that region and might awake when Beamer is in a retirement home.
Few can see that they would be amazing.
North Carolina was the perfect pair with them, but not I would rather NC State so as to not sully the SEC's academic reputation.

The only sport that they are really mediocre in as far as I can tell is football. But like you said, once Beamer retires I think they will take over that state with and region with the right coach. Basketball has always been pretty solid and their baseball team is pretty much a staple in Omaha now. Plus they have the old southern gentleman type of aura surrounding their university. They'd fit in very nice.

People will say FSU should be added but I honestly couldn't think of a worse fit.
