Jordan Mickey did. Starting Forward for LSU basketball.

He qualified before he stepped on Prime Prep's campus. Not one credit from that school has been accepted by the NCAA for anyone.

All this late interest, I wonder if he got something squared away with his qualifying issues.

Yep, I was thinking the same thing.

Looks like he just committed to Mizzou. Not sure what that means about his LSU visit next weekend.

I imagine he won't visit lsu until he's coming out of juco.

I don't doubt he's JUCO bound. But for some reason I get this nagging feeling that people found positive news on him qualifying.

I'm betting he got some positive news in regards to qualifying recently. Too much late interest for a guy that isn't going to qualify. I have a feeling he's reeling in balls for the Yankee Tigers next year.

Many consider this kid to be one of the 4/5 top sleepers in this years class. Great pickup.

He looks like another Cordorelle Patterson to me.

He was probably slow played just in case we felt like we wouldn't get at least one of Demarkus Lodge or Van Jefferson.

Looks like we just got Jefferson. Lodge is ours to lose.

Prime Prep is closing it's doors officially now, doesnt look like he has a hope of qualifying.

I think he'll be a hot commodity out of JUCO in 2 years ala D'haquille Williams - he's not quite on that level, but he can be with work.

He's still going to visit LSU. Hopefully we can hang into him.

You will. Martin is a solid WR and LSU would love to have him, but the confidence on getting Derrick Dillon is high enough to where they won't mess it up by trying to add another WR into the mix

They're finishing the school year at PP, so it's not a forgone conclusion that none of the athletes there will graduate.

Them graduating doesn't change the fact that the NCAA sees all their credits as worthless.

And somehow I doubt he had enough credits after his junior year at Wossman.

So educate me on how it works. He would have had "x" amount of credits at his prior high school. Then he takes one years worth of classes/credits at PP. So even if he passes, the concern will be that the NCAA doesn't give credit for the credits earned at PP? Most of what I saw about PP dealt with finances and mismanagement more so than academics, at least as far as the reason for their charter being yanked. If that's true (and I don't even know it's true because I have a fair idea of what kind of classes they take there), but if that's true, it seems kind of harsh to not give credit for the classes if the issues aren't over academics. Regardless of where he committed.

Right, everything I've read has Prime Prep's issues being financial ones. Maybe they had academic ones as well, but I haven't seen any mention of them. They are getting their charter pulled because they are leaking money like a sieve.

Won't qualify at Mizzou. Will make Dean's list at Arky.
