its freezing but that can't stop the G part of the GTL.
bike ride for 25 minutes to warm up
then its arms and abs
some close grip bp super set with barbell curls
over head tricep and easy bar curl
hammer curls, lying tricep lifts
twisting db curl, over head db tricep
cable curl, tricep rope pull down

post your routine and maybe some of the peasantry that doesn't work out will see the light.

Tying up loose ends at work, then heading to the gym.

Upper body today

Abs are every day

Bball after that for cardio

Play my cards right, maybe sexy time w/ wifey later

best cardio

abs will probably be hanging leg lifts, hanging knee lifts, Russian twist with 10 pound weight, and then wood chops

Indubitably

That'll do

Imma do my usual push/pull circuit around the weight room with upper body machines/dumbbells. Descending sets of 16/14/12 reps with as much weight as I can handle with good form.

The trouble is going to be trying to shoot hoops with tired arms

right now I'm working a 5 set routine doing 5-8 reps in each set. The idea was to use jan to get my form down pact again. then crank back up my 3 month work out of 1 month strength training, the next size, and the last month going for shredding.

I felt like when i started pushing the larger weight my form got out of whack and i was just chasing numbers.

Then i decided to put cardio back into the routine but use the bike instead of running.

Yeah, that's an easy trap to fall into.

I quit trying to bulk up or anything the past couple of years. Just lift because I like it and not to set any personal bests. Feels like I stay in a healthy routine longer. Sounds backwards, but it works for me.

Usually do elliptical, bball, or bike for cardio. Depends on the day.

Im still going to chase personal best but i'm going to be more cautious about it and let it happen over time.

Me and Mrs. hbt have also went back to a more strict diet. its been eggs and toast for breakfast all week, usually a chicken breast and salad for lunch and dinner. I decided it was time to go back to giving myself 1 bad breakfast, 1 bad lunch and 1 bad dinner. the rest of the meals are healthy

That's good on the diet thing. I find that if I get myself used to a good routine, it lowers my desire to cheat as often.

I pretty much always eat the same thing at work, and I keep my carbs low. Nothing too regimented, but it keeps me fit and able to keep up with my missus. She's very health-conscious and always in the gym. Zumba is her thing, though.

mrs hbt loves the classes at the gym.

I find it easier to eat better when allowing for a few unhealthy meals a week. Its not like i need a strict diet and its hard to pass up the local food. I do enjoy the salads though and sweet taters

frick the gym we started pouring concrete at 6:30 and the last truck just left. It's cold and drizzling with a brisk north breeze and I am shivering hard enough for cardio.

Just started going back this week. Did squats 2 days ago for the first time since probably jr high and I can't walk up the stairs haha. Also played racquetball after for cardio and tried to put too much topspin on it, whiffed the ball, racquet into face, swollen eye.

If you truly 'work out' you never need to do arms.

Plus only total douche nozzles do arms.

Be athletic.

Be strong.

Don't be a douche.

GYM JONES, look it up.
