Yep. Aggies were laughing when they hired Chief because they also understood that all of the quality DCs had already taken jobs. No one was left.
Combine that with the fact that Alleva is fricking the program up and that he refuses to pay big money for a quality DC, and the entire search is a grade A clusterfrick

Well we all laughed when the Sumlin courting Chavis stuff came out weeks before it went down, so there appeared to be a plan in place at least.
Chavis leaving now hurts with recruiting entering the home stretch and no idea of who is going to be DC.
It's just laughable at this point. Almost a zero percent chance that there won't be a melt over who gets the job.
