How much did Chavis to A&M increase the LSU-A&M rivalry?

i just cant get into this rivalry. i didnt cheer for lsu in the 80s when they used to play a&m. Ole Miss i can get on board with. But i just dont care more about a&m than i do about other west schools.

If you believe A&M won the exchange (all depends on the LSU hire) it would be the first A&M football win against LSU in 20 years. So a step in the right direction given that LSU has flat out disciplined Sherman, Sumlin, and John Football.

Chavis has been gone a grand total of 8 days. Outside of the first 3-4 days LSU fans have moved on. Its TAMU who continue to be obsessed with our defensive coordinator position.

It will make the game more interesting that's for sure, but Texas is, and will always be, our #1 rival.

Yall are pretty obsessed with seeming like you are not melting. fricking be men and own up to it. Any major program that loses a DC in a lateral move will melt. Yall might soon make PSU fans melt, it is reality.

LSU wants this to be a rivalry so bad. They should focus on their clown show of a program instead of on what A&M does with its superior resources. Just my opinion.
