Do Alabama fans put some of the blame of their debacle on Auburn's loss to Wisconsin?
Urban said that gave them the confidence to feel they could beat Alabama, he said that was a huge factor.

Your feelings?

Nah, it's just Urbs doing what he does best, preparing preparing, preparing. Hell sometimes I think if you give him enough time and film he could beat anybody. Bottom line he just outcoached Saban and made his arse quit.

I thought the performance of other west team in their bowl games had an effect on the last game of the day. It was used as show and tell and give confidence to beat Bama. It was used to discredit the number one ranking.

Why does it have to be a debacle? The best team won the game. We belonged there but our loss had nothing to do with anything Auburn did or did not do imo.

I think the loss had more to do with their shitty D. I mean, OSU's QB was a third string with one start.

I'm not sure why that OSU QB was 3rd string. He looked pretty darn great to me. Sure Bama's secondary was questionable, but the kid rammed through whenever he wanted to.

I'm not sure why Bama was so ill prepared for that game. the nuts were ready with a great plan, and played with confidence.

Bama thought it was their birthright to get handed national titles so they were underprepared. They'll still probably claim a championship this year anyway. They have like 41 fake titles at this point.

No, I put the blame on the team and give credit to Ohio State for finding a way to get motivated. Alabama should have been twice as fired up as Ohio State. But that wasn't the case. After last year and some things that happened this year, I just don't know what you have to do to light a fire under this team. Felt like some people came to play and some didn't. Granted they accomplished a lot this season, but I mean in this specific game.

No.

Urban just wanted to troll Auburn a little since he never beat us while he was at Florida.

Yes this loss is 100% Auburns fault and I for one am pissed.
Me and Nick will be meeting soon to figure out how to keep this from happening again .

1941 is the only one that's fraudulent. All the ones preceding it they won the Rose Bowl and were undefeated. All the ones after it were part of the modern era where titles aren't really debatable. I've done a more in depth look into these in a thread before.

So, if it really makes you feel better, you can say they claim a fraudulent one and really only have 14. Though they could justifiably claim 1966 as a national championship, making up the difference.

Bama has at best 7 and probably only 5 true national titles. That's still impressive but a far cry from 14.
