I dont see how you can say that, it was a team failure. Defense gave up a 4th and fricking 1 run for a TD

Oh, I don't disagree. I'm hopeful that if Muschamp can give us a competent D Gus won't have to do things to try and compensate for our defense.

All this. Also a 4th and 5 that could've sealed it.

They put up 31... While it wasn't as good as I would like to see.. That's still on the defense to not give up 34..

This team has always come out flat, I want someone who can put a fire under these lazy arses.

If there is one things Muschamp should be able to do it's light a fire. If he can't we might as well just give up.

Seriously, I can't wait for him to start straightening some people out, and kicking some others out.

I don't know what game you watched either. The defense gave up a 50 yard TD run on 4th and one, and you put this just on offense?

FG kicker missed 2 FGs?

Man I get sick of people blaming Malzahn and the offense. fricking A dude, we gave up 400 yards rushing to a team that could barely complete a forward pass. I don't care who you are. If you give up that many yards rushing, you are gonna lose. Football has always been about running the football and stopping the run.

Muschamp can only do so much. A lot of this falls on Malzahn.

Little toughness, no discipline, developing a lot of offensive tendencies.

Yes, we lost this game because of defense, but it's far from the only problem.

Going 8-5 with the talent we had coming back is borderline unacceptable, especially the ones to A&M and Wisconsin.

derrrrp

you expected our defense to not give that much up? this is how our defense has always been under Malzahn, why did you expect it to change for the bowl game?

we win because we outscore the big numbers other teams put on us, that's just how it is...we had shitty playcalling all game and that's why we lost

This team could not put other teams away. We let teams hang around and make plays when they needed them. This was a disappointing ending to a disappointing season.

Maybe Gus should never have the same QB twice. I do think Auburn thought last year would work but without a fb it doesn't.

The smoke draw and the WR tunnel screen should be stricken from our playbook. FOREVER

The worst I ever saw was a wildcat last year in the ncg. With nm as qb for some reason Gus wanted to try the wildcat.

You can blame the offense all you want, but you show me a team that gives up 400 yards rushing and still wins the game. Statistically, it's just not probable. The defense lost this game. Period.
