Why do a majority of SEC fans want West Virginia to be an SEC member?

It seems like most of the opposition is from Mizzou. Do you not understand their desire to leave the big12 already?

Culturally WVU would be a good fit for the SEC and provide a rivalry game for Kentucky and Tennessee. WVU was always kind of a misfit in the old Big East and is an even greater misfit in the Big 12.
WVU football can be pretty good with the right coach but they have to have the right coach otherwise it can go bad quick (they don't have the recruiting base to sustain themselves through a bad coach like LSU, Bama, Auburn, UGA or UF have). With that said they do offer competitive football and they do typically have a good basketball team. They would instantly be in the top 4 in the SEC in basketball and that is something the SEC desperately needs, especially since Missouri has to have been a big disappointment for the SEC from a basketball standpoint.
