Dude deserves his kudos. He played a nice smart game tonight.

If we get 12 games of this BA next season, we'll be in the conversation for a lot more than getting bowl eligible.

I tip my hat to him, he played a very smart game tonight. If this carries over into next season we will be exceptionally dangerous.

Agreed.

Also, Hatcher went beast mode and Wilson's catch was unreal. Awesome to see our WRs step up in a big way.

I was impressed with our punt returner/WR. I forget his name, I think they said he was a true freshman... but he was smart with handling punts and displayed some good hands.

He made some smart decisions, but with a QB that has good footwork and is a better passer, we have at least 14 more points tonight. It's splitting hairs in a blowout win, but we can easily upgrade from BA. That being said, he's a smart QB, if not the most physically gifted.

Go BA- he played really well.

Hatcher had a nice game too.

I'm holding out hope that BA's (and the Hogs) confidence skyrockets after the last few games of the season and winning so convincingly in a bowl game. Going into this game, I think BA could have gone into the offseason knowing that he had improved on his previous season pretty significantly. But did he WIN the Hogs any games? Did he do anything...special?

Well after this game, I think he has a little bit of swagger momentum going. He wasn't a superstar or anything tonight, but he hit on some throws that he's been missing. He made some plays happen with his legs. He got multiple receivers involved.

BA's ceiling as a so-called "game manager" is pretty much what we saw tonight. As a third year starter with a lot of confidence coming into his senior year, I could see BA stepping up and playing closer to his "peak" on a consistent basis.

Of course, I secretly hope a random stud QB transfers here or that one of the other QB's puts it all together.

He looked much more poised & "with it." Maybe it's just taken him a bit to get acclimated. Hope his improvement continues to next season. Congrats to him for a really good game tonight.

Our OL still wasn't very good in pass protection tonight, we have got to get a LOT better before next season if we want Allen to take us anywhere.

Give Allen a decent pocket, and a clean bill of health, he is more than enough for this offense.

I've said it all year and tonight wasn't much different, our pass protection leads to a lot more Allen issues than Allen's talent. Kudos to BA.

BA was a motherfricking MAN last night. IMO, he got better with every game this season. Can't ask for much more from a kid.

BA is Jekyl and Hyde for me. Last night he made some decisions/throws that made me think "This guy is the answer" (long 3rd down conversion to Hatcher, tuck and run, TD to Wilson, deep out to Morgan) and then he made decisions/throws that have me shaking my head (Henry multiple times).

Also, does it seem like to anyone else that throughout the year, 60% of roll-outs end up in throwaways? Understanding that we don't have the truly gifted outside guys.

BA played well against Texas. Maybe it's my imagination but it looks to me like he's throwing the ball with more velocity and accuracy.
