How I see the SEC West heading into the off-season

Obviously things will change once the recruits put ink to paper, attrition (legal problems too), and players leaving for the NFL.
1: Alabama - can't argue against that. They may not win the division, but you just can't argue against them being listed at #1. Too much talent not to finish in the top 2.
2: Ole Mis - plenty of talent at WR. Will need to find replacements for the top players that were the leaders of that defense. They should still have a stout defense.
3: Auburn - They will be heading into the off-season after a disappointing 2014 season and will need to find their next running back and will need to find a QB.
4: Arkansas - They will need better QB play to have any shot at finishing higher, but they return a lot from the 2014 season and should push for a solid season.
5: LSU - until I see better QB play I am not going to trust this team having good QB play for the 2015 season after what I saw on the field from the 2014 season. Plenty of talent on defense but could be weak in the middle at the DT spot.
6: Miss. State - will take the biggest hit in college football next season, IMO.
7: Texas A&M - no defense.

Oh look -- same prediction everyone had for us this season.

Last season I pegged Miss. State as a top 3 team in the SEC West. I don't have that line of thinking heading into the off-season. Good luck to you guys.

LSU returns both DT's. Both were great down the stretch. You did 0 research.

Your 1 and 7 are not out of the realm of possibility.
Put the rest in a hat and shake them up and pull out a name.
But your number one will be the most debatable.

I could see making this statement if Dak were to go pro. But all signs are pointing to him staying for his senior year. With pretty much every offensive weapon back with another year under their belt, plus a couple juco and redshirt guys ready to contribute. We'll have to replace a couple of stud LB's and a couple of Dlinemen but we have plenty of returning defensive starters and reserves coming back to be fine defensively.
So, bad assessment on your part.

What positions are they sooooo talented in? I'll hang up and listen.

You realize that defensive tackle will be one of LSU's strongest positions next season, right?

LSU returns both DT's.
Thomas, LaCoutoure, and Godchaux all back.
Bain, Valentine, and Lealaimatafao rotating in.
If Greg Gilmore and Frank Herron stick around, they provide even more quality depth.
