Will he play football and baseball at LSU? Can he be the next Chad Jones to win national and SEC championships in both?

Agree. This is going to be a MAJOR recruiting event to watch under Miles/Cameron/Wilson because if they screw this up, it will be extremely bad for the program.

If somehow Patterson decides he doesn't want to be a part of a 2 QB class and then Franks bolts for MLB last minute or something and LSU misses out on both, it would be crippling and an epic failure.

Franks looks great and so does Patterson. The thing with Patterson is that it seems a few other LA recruits are very close to him. LA's 2016 class is stacked and LSU's staff can't mess it up and let top guys get away.

I'm a little uneasy about Franks anyway. Great player, but Patterson is a much safer bet IMO.

It won't be a two QB class IMO.

It's Patterson or BUST.

My brother works with one of his family members and this is simply not true. He made a few comments being nice and respectful but don't read anything into them. He is not going anywhere near the state of Mississippi for college unless he is playing against y'all

Stick with your transfers. I can't even think of the last guy Ole Miss had at QB that didn't transfer in. I guess Zach Stout. It seems to be working too.

I will post any updates as I hear them, but as of now he is being open minded. He likes LSU and feels like he could contribute right away. Clemson has really been putting the pressure on recently. He is still up for grabs from what I am being told

I don't claim to have any idea on how to evaluate High School QBs but from a strictly recruiting standpoint, I have to agree.

Louisiana doesn't produce top tier QBs often and we can't afford to lose one when we do. His tie in to some other recruits makes him that much more valuable as well; although of course on his own he's a blue chipper.

One vs. the other, I'm going with Patterson but not to diminish the skills or talents of Franks.

Franks was the guy at the camp over the summer. But Patterson has improved quite a bit it seems, and is friends with all the bootlegger WRs. But honestly LSU would sign majority of those guys anyway.

I think you have to hold on to franks and try to convince Shea to come in with a two QB class.

Well I am not sure if I would call Patterson a Louisiana product.

If he stays with his choice to come to LSU probably.

True. I guess a better way to put it is that it is not often a LA HS has a top tier QB recruit.
