We love that bas-ket-baalll

Hogs at BWA tonight @8 on espnu vs the mighty Milwaukee Panthers who average in the 60's and haven't won a road game this season.

Given the opponent and that school's out and last minute Christmas stuff I'm sure they'll be a few hundred people there.

Go hogs.

I think I'll watch Rondo and the Mavs instead.

Very fortunate this Milwaukee team has no pulse.

Garbage first halves the past two games. Rondo looks uncomfortable. It'll come together. I'm not worried.

Turned out ok... Wish I wouldn't have watched, would have rather saw the 30 pt win and put it in the bank.

We definitely played better in the 2nd half, still wouldn't say great but not bad.

Big crowd but they were really quiet in the first half, understandably. That was ugly. Not to toot my own horn, but at halftime I thought "We'll probably score 50 in the second half," and then we did. Mike got fed up about midway through the second half and subbed all the starters back in and we ran away with it.

Refs really slowed the game down with all the ticky tack fouls. That second half was probably the longest half we've played all year.

NCAA's gotta get that scoring up rather than doing the obvious and moving shot clock down to 24 secs

The officiating last night really was god awful. I'm not blaming the refs or anything because obviously we won by 30, but there were some egregious calls. The biggest one was when Milwaukee had the ball with just a couple ticks on the shot clock, dude throws up a prayer, Durham catches it and passes it down court for an easy fast break, and then one of the refs blows a whistle and calls a shot clock violation on Milwaukee. AFTER we already had possession. One of the weirdest things I've seen all year.

Mike was pretty fired up about that one. The other moment that stood out was when a Milwaukee player went over and back clear as day, ref was standing right there too. From my seat I could see both of the player's feet on the line after he had already crossed. Just really bad officiating for the whole game.

yes they did.

i'll also add (since i hardly ever say anything nice about him) that madden came off the bench in the 1st and hit a nice 3 pointer right when we needed it. i do like him coming off the bench much better than starting.

saw that on espn- i watched the game but didn't realize we dominated the boards, in fact i was annoyed during part b/c we weren't rebounding like i wanted.

It seems like in just the past 3 weeks, bobby has become a totally different player. Hes using some new moves inside, fighting for rebounds, and just being a general badass. His confidence seems sky high. Not afraid to take on thick white dudes anymore.

Beard and Durham continue to look more agressive too.

bobby really has- he seems to always plays like he cares if that makes sense. and then when things are going rather crappy it's like he busts into super portis and gets things going the right way again.

and i agree on beard and durham- although at times i get beard and bell confused. their names are too similar.
