The "OP" is one of us.

You're not?

The "OP" was trolling and having a little fun.

You do get that, do you not? We're allowed to have a little fun, are we not?

I want to thank the USC basketball team for last year. It was after the game, Aaron Harrison stated in the press conference that UK is "going to start something special…we have unfinished business".

Well done.

But a question.

Is that a reflection in the TV, of an evil spirit of some sort, at the bottom of that photo ... see the red marker, just below the "According to ESPN's BPI?" It's like a bone demon from Constantine is watching the TV in the room, or something.

Our player said something similar after back-to-back close losses to Akron and Charlotte. We have since demolished the next 5 teams. Luckily we found our inspiration early, look for the 'Cocks to win-out.

How did this topic get on Constantine? haha

We won 2 of our last 3 regular season games and then won 2 straight in the SEC tourney, destroying the hopes and dreams of Hog fans everywhere in the process. The team has picked up where it left off outside of 3 losses by a combined 7 points

At least we haven't lost to USC Upstate, or Winthrop, or Coastal Carolina, or Clemson, or any of the other turrible teams other SEC schools have lost to

I think the top ranked South Carolina Lady Cocks would score more against this year's Cats than their men will.

Everyone plays inside, Kige, there are no open air arenas in the SEC.

One thing I just noticed about Kentucky that is damn impressive is that they have played the most games (12) of anyone in our conference and have allowed the fewest total points (572). Teams are lucky to score 50 on them.

USC has already won the SEC Despite Alabama's refusal to acknowledge basketball, it does indeed exist.
SEC championships you say? You talking about Alabama's ELEVEN SEC championships/tournaments?

A knowledgeable historian should write THE history of Kentucky basketball, and what it has meant to that state.

It is a symbolic army.

It's a story of Louisville's and Lexington's bluebloods coming together with Hazzard's and Pikeville's poorest of the poor coming together for a few hours each week. The blues likely in the arena and the poor sitting by battery-powered radios. All pulling for the Cats.

Not understanding this likely cost the Cats Bear Bryant.

There is not other story quite like it in all college sports. I had a graduate of Dartmouth and Yale explain it to me one night over much alcohol in a Louisville bar. My buddy came from a poor East Kentucky background and all this education was from scholarships.

There are things about the UK basbetball arrogance I don't like, but I am glad it is there because I dearly love to see the Cats lay it to UNC and Ratface and his Dookies.

Just my 2 cents.

Plus Lexington is so damned pretty. And it's not that far from Renfro Valley.

I think if you look at the actual matchup rather than a computer formula, most would say the @LSU game is the toughest game after Louisville for UK...
