been reading a few articles today about the Miami Dolphins being interested in Malzahn supposedly they are "highly interested". I don't think we have anything to worry about as I don't think he would have invested heavy in defense just to jump ship but interesting none the less. Speaks towards how highly respected he is outside of just auburn. WDE.

Maybe. Nothing we could do if the NFL tickles his fancy.

I don't see any way an NFL team is interested in a college coach that has yet to field a competent defense no matter how good his offense is.

I'm not really worried about it. I think Gus is very happy being in the college game. I think Gus is very happy about being at Auburn.

That's the plot twist. We laughed at USCe for the whole HCIW thing and in the end Gus was offering it to Will this whole time as he packed his bags for Miami.

Last year Cleveland, this year Miami, next year it will be another.

Just part of having a great HC that others want as well.

Not one iota concerned.

his defenses were more competent than ours are/were. They weren't great but they had fundamentals to fall back on.

He isn't leaving anytime soon. I believe it won't happen until/unless he has won a couple titles, his girls are all moved out, or something sours between him and JJ. He truly is VERY happy at Auburn!!

It would be a little worrying if no one was considering him.

My thought is that if Gus has NFL aspirations, he will make the jump in a few years but now is not the time. But he could just love the college game and never make the move. Regardless, I think he know he really needs to establish longevity before he gets an NFL opportunity that isn't a dumpster fire. He'd be an idiot yo go somewhere like Oakland where he will be out of a job in 3 years (anyone would). He's pretty secure at AU right now, why mess that up?

Well like I said I wasn't worried about losing him as much as I just think it speaks about how he is highly perceived. Good to be a tiger.
