What happened today to A&M was like CP3LSU25 and SpidermanTUba had a baby, and pissed on it.

im curious as well. i dont feel like sifting through the shite to find out. Is this all over losing one recruit?

1. Malik Jefferson and DeAndre McNeal commit to Texas. Jefferson states that Sumlin didn't trust him with information regarding the new DC hire as the reason.
2. Ricky DeBerry commits to OU 2 hours later.
3. Less than an hour later, Daylon Mack decommits (the originator of "WRTS") says he'll name his top 2 tomorrow and A&M isn't one of them.
4. Kevin Murray tweets something to the effect of "HS is the last level that you can win without a defense. That's where it ends".
5. Tarpley and Hamm basically state that Sumlin was set to hire Durkin and Mattison Wednesday but actually believed he could hire Chavis from LSU, basically saying Sumlin fricked it up completely
6. Bussey commits to Tennessee
7. Reports are that Mattison has now moved on

Malik Jefferson (state of Texas' #1 recruit) and his high school teammate Deandre McNeal both committed to the University of Texas today over A&M. Not a big deal McNeal committed because Aggies are stacked at WR. Not landing Jefferson was a huge deal because he was thought to be A&M all the way, but Sumlin failing to hire a DC cost him. Maybe five hours later, A&M's top ranked commit, Daylon Mack decommitted from the Aggies and presumably will announce a top 2 of LSU and Texas tomorrow (or possibly TCU). It's a big deal because A&M finally looked like they were going to turn their defense around with a big hire and big time recruits. Now, those recruits appear to be going elsewhere and not just anywhere else, but hated Big Bro. Kyler Murray's dad also questioned Sumlin's defense which caused A&M to worry about losing him to Oregon or professional baseball. Really bad day for the Aggies.

Thing about is you guys are melting in December when there's almost two months to $hange the mind of fickle 18 year-olds. Don't get so caught up in the short-term

So A&M has been getting gang banged, unwillingly, for the last 24 hours. I hate it for you guys......but it has been entertaining as hell.

Not that far fetched. It's all about the Benjamins these days. aTm digs deep enough in the pocket, Chavis works for them.

I'll go ahead and add that Jarrett Stidham flipped to Baylor today too.
He was in play to bounce from Kingsbury and Sumlin missed that too.
