Chavis would not go to A&M for 2 mil a year and A&M wouldnt pay that anyways.

He is fine where he is at, he doesnt want to go somewhere where he has to rebuild a defense over several years and deal with an offense that constantly wears out his own defense.

Chavis will go to A&M if they do $2Mil per for 4-5 years.

A&M could afford it easily too.

Yes, he's gonna jump ship for the least talented D in the SEC and probably the most comprehensive rebuilding job on either side of the ball in the SEC.

...for a coach is who is one season away from possibly being fired.

Hot new info: If he didn't leave for Mack Brown or Mark Richt he sure as shite isn't leaving for Kevin Sumlin

OK granted they're more talented than Vandy or Kentucky but my general point stands

Damn, what does that say about Chavis' confidence in Miles staying at LSU that he would even entertain that?

He gets $1.3 Mil per and is a month away from being in the final year of his deal. $2 Mil per is an additional 700K and higher than current top paid coaches Muschamp and Foster. LSU has chosen not to lock him up, so this is not that odd of a rumor.

it's all tard talk at this point, but you obviously don't know how shite works. All LSU would have to do is pay him more.

Looks like quite a few Ags owe Sumlin an apology too.

John Chavis is the best coach we have at LSU period, and underpaid for what he does compared to the rest of them that includes CLM. He is the reason we win year end year out, as you know it's not our offenses we are known for. LSU defense always as a rule keeps us in the game until and if the offense can eventually put enough point us to win each game. I hope he never leaves LSU. I understand he doesn't want a HC position, he likes what he does, and he is he BEST in many people estimation including mine.

The comments and the " " from LSU fans in this thread are absolutely hillarious.

Everyone else at other schools are dumb, grasping at straws, and dillusional.

Comic gold I tell you.
