I think some things are going on behind the scenes...
Duke Williams is rumored to be one-and-done all year, yet Justin Hoke and other Auburn writers have maintained there was a strong chance he could stay. Now, Fake Gabe Wright is saying Duke Williams will supposedly stay if his grades are in check, yet grades have already been sent back to students. Duke Williams also hasn't practiced all week due to "sickness", which I don't buy... It sounds like he made bad grades and may not be eligible for the bowl game.
WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?

It's pretty simple.
The FakeGabe info is bullshite. Duke really is out of practice because of injury/sickness. And Duke is still pondering whether he's going to the NFL or not. Only question I have is why hasn't he submitted paperwork. Even if you think you're staying it's not a bad idea to see where you stand.

What all is involved with early entry paperwork? Are you given a "grade"? A probably draft round? Who evaluates?

You're given a draft range, I believe.... by some former scout/player personnel types.

He never claimed to know anything about grades just that Duke may stay if he is academically eligible.
Also, it isn't super hard to hear things about grades if you know the right people in the faculty. For instance, I know Darvin Adams was academically ineligible to come back while Cam Newton had maintained a "surprisingly" good GPA while at Auburn
