I mean, I might mention that someone is a 4* on one site or something but when I refer to a players' ranking I only use the composite.
Eta: I don't have a problem with people who stick to using the rankings of one site though. None of this "this player is a 4* bc of rivals but 3* everywhere else" and "this player is a 4* bc of scout but 3* everywhere else".
As long as you are consistent.

Rankin is a mixed 3* and 4*. That's why I started the thread. It was "3* Rankin Commits to MSU" or "4* #1 JUCO OT, FUTURE ALL-PRO, FIRST EVER OT NFL MVP Commits to the University of Nkemdashians"
