Tied up at the end Alabama had the ball at the end and threw a touchdown in the final seconds and Mississippi appeared to come away with the interception. They ruled it Alabama touchdown REC doing work.

Alabama team spiked the ball from the shotgun to kill the clock for a field goal. Got called for intentional grounding. Lined up and threw a bomb to the end zone.

That game had the worst penalty I've ever seen in my life. Ref calls grounding when the QB was trying to clock it at the end of the game.

That is the definition of intentional grounding. Should be called every time.

No it shouldn't. Guy was obviously clocking it.

They should change the rule. If spiking the ball in order to stop the clock isn't intentional grounding, then I don't know what is.

Ok rant says no more clocking the ball. How long has that been allowed? This place will argue about anything.

Not a shocker. Alabama favors in not only population, but quality of coaching/programs.

Apparently, one has to be under center to clock the ball. The QB was in shotgun? According to those watching.

Didn't know that and didn't notice he was in shotgun. If that's the case then my bad.
