TAMU fired Fran for going 7-5, should Sumlin be worried?

Find it strange Fran got run out of town and Sumlin in the mayors office with the same basic results.
Also, it goes without saying Fran was a fricking idiot for leaving Bama.
Btw, Fran and JT are doing a bang up job at Tx St.

Fran left Bama due to the NCAA problems that where about to hit the program. He was not a great fit either.

He didn't have a swagcopter and Johnny Football.

Aggy wanted to start with a fresh jar with the move to the SEC.

Probs because Sumlin hasn't gone 4-8 and is 27-12 in his first three years as opposed to 16-19 for Fran.

If his recruiting slows down or implodes
If his DC hire is not a homerun
If he has a similar record next season
If our program remains in the news for our player's legal troubles
If Eric Hyman and he have a falling out
If the NFL comes calling next off-season
If any 2 of those happen I think he's relieved of his position at Texas A&M

No, we fired Fran for going 32-28 over 5 years.
A good troll would have focused on Fran never finishing higher than tied for 3rd in his division either. That, I have no argument for.

Fran went 9-3 the year before he went 7-5 in his last season.

Maybe it was all JFF. Maybe it was all Kingsbury. But the absolute blast that was 2012 is no longer sufficiently treating our pain. Winning is the opiate of the masses, and Sumlin got us hooked on the good stuff. Now he's trying to pass of a sub-par product as acceptable.

Texas A&M is a coaching graveyard

It's a honeypot trap. Everything you need to win is there. It should be possible to do very well there.
And yet...

TAMU has one of the most common natural resources available to mankind: unreached potential.

They should build giant refineries on campus for all that stored up potential energy.

.5mv^2 bitch. That's the formula you need to relay to Black Mack

Mack won a national championship and built the Longhorn brand into what it is today.
Sumlin hasn't won shite.

Mack was at Texas though. That's not a fair comparison
