Watch out, his mom loves Freeze. Also can't hurt to have Michael Oher, Dexter McCluster, and Chris Spencer in Van's dads ear about Ole Miss. If the Rebels land Jefferson to go along with Lodge, we should have the best WR corp in the country next year. Merry Flipmas! (hopefully)

So a couple of Freshman would give you the best WR corp in the country???
That being said, Van Jefferson is a heck of a player and very polished. We are really excited about the WR's we have commited. Currently we have
Terry Godwin
Van Jefferson
Darius Slayton
Michael Chigbu
Jayson Stanley
It is just an unreal amount of talent.
Here is Van's highschool release on hudl for this season .

He says he's going to UGA on Saturday for the Gala, then going to OM for a day trip on Sunday. We'll see if he actually goes to OM.
Very, very strange.

Treadwell 5*
Stringfellow 4*
Pack 4*
Adeboyjo 4*
Hibbler 4*
Lodge 4*
Jefferson 4*
Core returning starter
Engram best receiving TE in league.
The trio of Treadwell, Stringfellow, and Engram will be tough to beat. I'd love to hear who has three better receiving targets than those. We have the top WR in the country in '16 committed, while leading for two more, along with two four star TE's.
Jefferson and Lodge contribute more to us holding onto the top WR corps after 2015.

It's one of the best without a doubt

Very good, no doubt. Best in the country it is not. Especially if Treadwell comes back as a shell of his former self.

Well you gotta tell us who is better since you know it isnt the best.
Who is a better WR than Treadwell next year?
Who is a better TE recieving option than Engram?
Who has a better trio than Treadwell, Engram, Stringfellow?
Who else has five 4*'s as backups?

I'm ready to see String catch a slant across the middle and punish some poor linebacker

-Treadwell is coming back from a horrific injury. Nobody knows how he's going to play.
-Two of the players you just listed are seniors in HS and one is committed to another SEC team.
-Tennessee is taking the #1 WR in this class. Didn't LSU or A&M get the #1 WR last year?
Preston Williams 5*
Josh Malone 5*
Marquez North 4*
Von Pearson 4*
Jason Croom 4*
Pig Howard 4*
Ryan Jenkins 4*
TE: Daniel Helm 4*
And those aren't counting the impact 3* WRs.
And that's just Tennessee. Treadwell( prior to injury) and Engram are great players but that roster isn't the best in the country.

So youre telling me that treadwell cant come back from an injury that has him 100% by spring practice but your #1 WR will bounce back from an ACL? No bias there
I listed the two HS players because this entire conversation came from the POV that we land both and only if we land both would we have the top WR corps in the nation
What do you mean by "thats just tennessee". I know you only know about your program but is it not pretty much understood that UT has one of the best if not the best future WR corps with Malone, North and Croom? If we land both of those guys we will have as much talent on paper as yall do at the position with more proven results in Engram and Treadwell.
This is a stupid argument if you do not believe that UT also has one of the best WR corps because I think our two are the best in the league.

North had a concussion and an injured shoulder. That's not even in the same ballpark as what happened with Treadwell.

I could agree with that.

I'm talking about your #1 rated WR in Preston

UT is not taking the #1 receiver this year. Williams is #5

We'll see how he does but thankfully we're deep at WR next year so anything he gives us will be a bonus. IF he's fully healthy and doesn't have to redshirt, look out.
I think Treadwell is the best WR on either team (if he returns to form) but I would say that Tennessee's top 5 is more talented that OM's.
