I'll set the line at 1,750.

They had less than 7,000 at a BCS Bowl the same driving distance in a more desirable city just 2 years ago.

I don't think you'll see too many. Most have moved on from this season and are looking forward to the new coach.

Not much enticement to drive all the way to Birmingham to watch a 6-5, coachless team play ECU.

They sold 3500 of their 8000 allotment for our game this year. I'm gonna go with around 2800

And they probably all regretted paying for a ticket to what was possibly the worst game ever played in the series.

Our style of football over the last 4 years doesn't exactly inspire people to attend Gator football games. Hell our 35 year sellout streak was snapped because people didn't even want to drive to Gainesville to watch.

Probably less than the amount of wins Muschamp had in his tenure there. I can't fricking blame them for not going either. ECU isn't exciting, Birmingham isn't exactly a destination city and they've come to expect more success than 6-5.

I hope JM gets them respectable again in a hurry. The East feels off when Florida sucks. MISSOURI HAS WON BACK-TO-BACK DIVISION CROWNS…MISSOURI. Get your shite together, Gators. I hate Joakim Noah but other than that, I have no problems with UF.

Wesley, thanks. There are a LOT of rabid Gators, and they spend $$$ as witness by the buyout of McElwain's contract.

We are the rich kids and get prime TV exposure in many ways....Jesse, Tim and Kevin (Carter) on the ESPN/SECN sets, 20 minute segment on the presser for McElwain, etc etc. Florida has a lot of TV sets. LSU also has exposure in Booger and Marcus, Bama has McElroy....he is my favorite btw....very informative and passionate about college football. They need to dump Danny Kanell who is a dumb shite.

Anyway, we have fallen on hard times and will rise again. The SEC is unforgiving...one bad offense or defense and you are looking at a 7-5 or a 6-6 record quick.
