Texas was up 20-14 refs call a hack of a flagrant 1 call on texas. 20 seconds later it's a tie game.

Kentucky fans will be soon since it's tied now.

The refs are ruining this game.

I'm almost certain that's in their job description.

I think they've called more fouls than either team has points. This is painful to watch.

yes. these people are fricking huge. they need a bigger court.

I mean they are blowing their whistle on every possession it seems like

So which ones of the "who's who" of shitty refs are there?
John Higgins?
Tim Higgins?
Joe Derosa?
Ed Hightower?
Penn Wagers?

Basketball, by far, is the most difficult game to officiate.
All you can hope for is consistency.
Not often do I pull for Kentucky in basketball, but tonight, Go Wildcats.

All I know is it's like they've never seen a bunch of big men play ball. Wish they'd let them play on both ends.

True, but this atrocious. Zero flow to this game.

yeah, that's what I don't get. It's not like one team is disproportionately bigger than the other. Everybody from the 2 guards on up are at least 6'5'' on both teams.

And everyone knew it was going to get physical.
We've gotten used to seeing them call the guard position tight with the emphasis last season with impeding and let them bang underneath and it's been the opposite tonight. Which is a real shame since both of these teams have some great talent under the basket.

I didn't see a problem with the flagrant call. He went for the ball with one hand, but he put the other across the guy's neck/face.
That said, this game is almost impossible to watch. One of those where the officials apparently think we want to watch them. Zero flow to the game on either end.

I thought that should have been a clear penalty on KY. Holmes wouldn't have made contact poythress? gone up without throwing out his left hand to block him.
