Superintendent Fred Primm tells ABC 33/40 the equipment wasn't "repossessed" but taken away. However, he admits the company that brought the equipment was never paid even though the equipment has been on school property for almost two months. A company representative confirms to ABC 33/40 it never received payment for any items.
Primm adds he failed to get board approval for the purchase of the equipment after the bid process. However, the board has allocated money for equipment. But once he selected the vendor, he didn't put the item on the agenda for an official vote. Primm says it was a procedural mistake.

That's usually what happens when the bills don't get paid.

They're supposed to be setting an example for da kids. If the educators can't do it then who?

Maybe UA can help them out since they wont be sinking millions into UAB anymore.

Sounds like the school told them they would not be getting a payment since the procedures where not followed.
Equipment was signed for, delivered however somebody didn't get the proper paperwork/approval.
The school could not pay for it at that point...they would be forced to pass bill onto an individual. Company knew that was a losing proposition and just picked up the equipment.

Planned repo. Saban is going to force UAB to give their training equipment to this high school and build a "Hood Hoover" if you will..
