Duh

The problem early in the year was simple.

seriously, what is bobby williams do that it takes almost 2 full seasons for his 6'6 240lb athletic freak TE to realize he has an advantage in size and athleticism and that he should be attacking the ball instead of letting 5'9 dbs take it away from him? Bobby Williams is worthless and must have some serious dirt on Saban for him to drag his carcass from job to job.

Seriously though, if OJ just starts using his height, vertical, and wingspan to attack the pass while its in the air, he will be uncoverable by anyone in CFB.

He's one of my Prattville boys but I'm still pissed about that Ole Miss play.

It will take a lot for me to forgive his lack of effort against Ole Miss.

I wish they would just move OJ out to WR. A freaking nightmare matchup like covering Mike Evans.

He was running full stride while adjusting to a pass thrown over the wrong shoulder against Ole Miss. Still can't believe people blame him for that.

Yeah it was definitely not as bad as people make it out to be. The guy is still only a true soph, and was very raw coming out of HS. We need to cut him some slack.

My resume is not the worst and I'm a good recruiter, not mention the only person who has been with Saban longer is Mrs. Terry and I make sure the oatmeal cream pie jar stays fully stocked at all times.

He is getting better at blocking. Very over rated at receiving.

No, that was not his problem.

I said this after the Ole Miss game and got a lot of flack.

He should have high pointed the ball. Glad he recognizes his errors now and I hope he continues to improve on this and the other aspects he has struggled in.

He was playing like a wideout and not a TE. He was trying to catch balls in stride, letting them land into him running after the catch instead of high pointing and getting the necessary yards like a TE should.

Realistically he should be a bigger threat than Cooper inside the 10 yard-line because of his size.

It's beyond me why he doesn't have at least 5 TD catches from a fade to the back of the endzone. He can literally out jump 99% of any defensive player he'll face in college.

- He was not running full stride, he slowed down.
- The pass would have been thrown perfectly to him had he not slowed down.
- Any remotely decent receiver or TE could have made that catch.

I still can't believe we're making excuses for him... especially when he is indirectly admitting his mistake there.

If he gives all his effort, doesn't slow down and misjudge that ball; it's a TD 100% of the time.

Seriously just saw the pick against ole miss again. I didn't realize how on point that throw was. Had he been able to go up and get that it would have been a td

Keep in mind that he had to be weary of the back of the endzone. Running full stride is great until you run out of the back of the endzone.
