These have been sprinkled in other threads but I'd like to hear what y'all see happening next year. Record, who steps up, how many time Chubb makes you wonder if defenders are playing with cement in their shoes...I just need something to look forward to. Come on guys, help me out.

Personally, I see an 8 win regular season. No SECCG, I think someone else takes a step forward while we tread water. Ramsey plays the whole way and takes his lumps but shows enough flashes to give us hope in 2016. I think Chubb plays well but not quite as well as he has this year. Being "the man" on offense is different than filling in when "the man" gets hurt or suspended.

What else ya got?

9-4, including a win in our bowl game.

Growing pains is what I expect. New QB, new Center, revamped Defense and a lot freshman getting some PT. I think we are a respectable 8-4 (4-4 SEC) next season, thanks in large part to a favorable schedule. Next year will require patience, and yes I'm looking in the mirror

09/05 – ULM- W
09/12 – @ Vanderbilt- W
09/19 – South Carolina- W
09/26 – Southern U.- W
10/03 – Alabama- L
10/10 – @ Tennessee- L
10/17 – Missouri- W
10/31 – Florida- W
11/07 – Kentucky- W
11/14 – @ Auburn- W
11/21 – Georgia Southern- W
11/28 – @ Georgia Tech- W
12/05 – SEC Championship Game- ???

I think Ramsey will do well, but not great. Hopefully Keith Marshall is healthy (not holding my breath), Chubb and Michel will each get 1,000 AP yards.

Defense will be young, mean, fierce, and sometimes stupid.

All in all, I think we have a better year next season with Ramsey costing us one game and a young D another. The team learns from both of those mistakes and doesn't repeat them. We will be out for blood against USCe, UF, and the North Ave. Trade School- we will win all 3.

It looks like another transition year. Breaking in a new QB. Running game always depends on the OL. Who do we lose on the OL? Center, David Andrews and Kolton Houston are both Seniors. Is Theus coming back?

Defensively, 2015 will be the first season for Pruitt to work with players he recruited. Are we getting any studs who start as Freshmen or are we looking at yet another rebuilding season on defense? The problem with our teams in general is while rival programs like Bama are reloading every season, we seem to be rebuilding every season due to ongoing attrition at a higher level than evident in other programs.

UGA is rebuilding right now because the talent UGA has on defense isn't good enough. Losing JHC hurt. Most of the guys leaving now are looking for playing time elsewhere.

Theus is coming back. Has the Houston situation been resolved? I know he has applied for a 6th year and was supposed to hear back by now.

I am betting on the defense being consistently better. We won't match the highest highs of 2014, but won't flounder like we did at times this year.

I, for one, won't miss Damian Swann at all. I know he had a decent number of picks but he was consistently overmatched. I am betting Fenteng playing as well or better than Swann did this year.

8-4, 7-5, somewhere in that range. Basically almost the same as any other year. 2016 and 2017 teams look like they could be loaded, but we've seen this before.

Just trying to not go into Debbie Downer mode for the next 9 months. I don't want to be that one guy after every game we lose with that smug "told you! we suck! I knew we were gonna lose!" mentality. Nobody likes that guy, even if he is right.

It's all rainbows and unicorns... I get it now. Stardust... Funky odors... Receding hairlines... Soiled sheets with a strong faith... But 2016 & 2017... Ooo boy you betcha... We'll be right where we need to be... the beat goes on and on and you all continue to drink the Jim Jones.

I want so badly to fast forward to 2016 but first we have to slog through next year.

Over/under on the week that people start calling for Richt's job - Vegas would probably put it around 8-9. I would take the under all day long.

Depending on how many underclassmen leaves or stays on D. Guys in waiting may surprise. I don't see our Oline taking a hit because of the talent stepping in. Whoever steps in at QB will pass for over 3000 yard2 and 25 TD's. If Mitchell return we can build the WR corp around him. With a healthy Keith Marshall we may have the best RB's in the country. My prediction 11-1.

8 or 9 wins. I think 2016 will be better with experienced defense and 2nd year starter at qb. Sony and chubb will be juniors so I believe that will be our best chance. No high expectations for next year though.

The fact that Mitchell is considering leaving early is astounding.

Not really. He has NFL potential but another season at UGA basically guarantees another injury because he is made of glass.

Might as well head to the combine while he is healthy because who knows if that would be the case after next season.
