Ya'll went 10-2 and had a great ride along the way. You beat some good teams and lost on the road to two great teams. You're gonna get a rotation bowl game and an opportunity to carry momentum into next year. Your students released a couple cringe-worthy State-themed pop song parodies (Shake My Bell, All About That State) You airbrushed cleats and trimmed your uniform in Gold. But... State's play was impressive. Dak Prescott was the second best player in the league this year, and ya'll were very entertaining to watch.

I can see why some OM and MSU fans wish the other to crash and burn and suck for eternity, but I'm not one of them. Beating a State team that is formidable and one of the best teams in the nation feels a lot better than beating a State team that is barely bowl-eligible.

I loved seeing the exposure for the state and would rather our rivalry develop into an Alabama-Auburn (on the field, that is) rather than what Michigan-Ohio State is these days.

Y'all are winning the 2015 in-state battle, minus two of the top three big prizes (Patterson and Lewis), but make sure your b-holes are prepared for what we're doing to y'all in next year's in-state battle
