Should not have the worst refs in college football.

Refs are human and as such will miss calls, but there is no excuse for how poor ours are compared to other conferences.

Every fanbase on this board has a stake in this. Someone start a petition, because I'm too fricking lazy.

It really is comical how bad our conference officials are. You sort of expect an abundance of shitty calls and no calls before each game yet somehow, they continue to surprise us all.

It's been this way for quite some time. I'm a huge advocate of the college game over the NFL, but the pros undeniably have it all over the NCAA in terms of officiating.

Besides the most talked about calls, the third and long where AJ fumbles the ball and it was recovered by LSU but there was an inadvertent whistle so they play the down over again.

What in the hell was that?

Our officiating is horrible. Period.

Since there are no undefeated teams to protect, refs got confused, decided to frick everyone

Seriously though, it's been a problem every year

so it was a fumble. they called it a fumble on the field, then whistled it after Pocic picks it up, causing him to nor un for the first down.

SO the whistle prevented it form being a 1st down so we got another play

And apparently this is all a real thing and part of the rules of football.

the correct call. Same thing happened in the LSU/Ole Miss game.

Worst officials in football.

By far.

SEC officiating is an absolute joke.

How long has it been this way, and what is the cause?
Money? Bias? or just plain stupidity?

Do you think it has anything to do with every game in the SEC being a 'big game'?
The mistakes might just seem magnified by the magnitude of the games they happen in.

You're not asking anything we haven't been asking for years now.

And I wouldn't doubt if bias comes into play, as it's human nature. I think the spotlight and pressure these refs are under in the SEC is unparalleled to anywhere else, which puts them in a unique position.

In other words, LSU likely paid the refs tonight. Aggy's learned a valuable lesson tonight. It's not about how much money you have, but how much you're willing to spend to win.

Not quite insight, but I know what you meant. An instinctive knowledge if you will.

Maybe if you paid the refs as much as you paid that overhyped coach of yours your team could've walked away with a W tonight, but alas, 4 in a row.

Agreed on all counts. Too bad I don't have access to the TAMU checkbook or things would be a lot different around here.

SEC refs are terrible. Pac 12 refs are mind-numbingly worse IMO.

Admittedly I suppose I don't watch enough Pac 12 football to make an argument
