I don't do Tide fans Brah... glad I made some one do some research lol because he obviously didn't know beforehand...
So seemingly it's this idiots job to check optimistic Bama fans cause he can get his old testicles to fire off enough testosterone to get excited himself. This isn't the end of the world for me slick.. if I say Bama is going to beat UK which I undoubtedly will before the game, yknow... cause I'm a fan.. I assume you're going to come get me straight huh?
Save your breath old timer seems like you may be needing it before too long.. and assuming your blood pressure coincides with your negativity levels I'd advise you to get off off the internets where you may see things you don't like... like optimism, cause I has lots of it.. lol. *DISCLAIMER* I think that StephL is a moron and I do not agree with most of his nonsense....BUT....
Iowa St. is legit. Simply put, they are a better team than Alabama. Bama had several opportunities to get blown out last night and I'm not saying that for a moral victory. They look to have more of a "green light" shooting the ball this season and I think that will pay dividends. Dispite giving some good effort, we are just not very good inside. Our guard play will improve a good bit over the next few games IMO. Really like the freshman Coleman. He's going to be legit.
I think this team is a tournament team but I don't see them getting past the round of 32 unless they polish up the skills in the paint.

I used to be a pretty passionate alabama basketball fan. I knew everything there was to know about the team from about '98-'07 and preferred basketball over football but I was also realistic. It's one thing to support your team but another to think that they could beat the Spurs on any given night.

StepL its fine to be a fan and cheer for the team. Being a fan doesnt mean that you have to go spout nonsense and make absurd predictions.
Why dont you go on some NBA boards and claim Bama could play with them? That makes you more of a fan right?
What your OP shows is that you know are willingly ignorant about Coach Grant and the way his teams have played at Bama. There have literally been countless Iowa State type games since hes been coaching here. Its the same old story every single time. Maybe this year is different but I saw a lot of the same problems last night that ive seen the last 5 years.
