I tried both and directtv is not in the dropdown for tv providers. What gives? I know I streamed a game or two last year on espn with no issues.

Dish. Dish anywhere app. Sign up and get 50 and I'll get 50.

They negotiate the terms a little better than directv. Don't care about watching all nFL games as long as I have red zone.

This. Works like a charm. And if you have someone on Dish in the area you want to watch an NFL game, you can use their log in and get their local programming.

DirectTV has never provided WatchESPN.

It is the one thing keeping me from dropping cable and going with them.

I love DirecTV, even worked for them as an installer for 2 years. And i had Dish Network at home the whole time. Better choice. better HD.
