Auburn had such high expectations this year. They really thought they were going to win the SEC and National Championship. They thought they had the best team.

Now they will lose 4 to 5 games. Does this calm the expectations for next year or do they think they will run the table?

I hope they still beat Bama this year. Along with winning out.....its our only chance to win the west. At this point...all Auburn should care about is the Iron Bowl.

It's just a game, Larry. We will be ok, I promise.

Tell that to all the Auburn fans who were proclaiming their team as world beaters in the offseason. Must hurt to fall down back to Earth.

Why? Because they returned a decent amount of players from a team that played in the MNC last year? How arrogant of them.

Hind sight is 20/20, Larry.

You Bama fans have already claimed the Natty.

Season isn't over yet.

FTR, it has to be LSU. No way the Tigers should be in the bottom of the west with their talent level.

It will be Bama if they screw the pooch in the Iron Bowl again this year.

Can't have it both ways.

All year boasting about how good you are ad nauseum, that winning the national championship is all that matters(atleast that's what you've been saying to UGA fans), and that you all melted this week as if you were dipped in boiling cow manure tells a different story.

This year is definitely disappointing. No way of getting around that. As far as next year is concerned, I think expectations will be fairly high just because of the schedule.

Play Alabama, Georgia, and both Mississippi schools at home. Play Arkansas, Kentucky, LSU, and A&M on the road. Begin the season with a game against Louisville in the Georgia Dome and that is the big non conference game. That schedule is made to compete for championships. Might not see Auburn in the top 5 or 10 to start the season, but I expect you will see them as a sleeper at the very least just because of that schedule

I like your attitude.

I agree AU underachieved this season by the standards it has set. I, for one, thought they would contend for another Championship.

I guess the squeaky wheels get the grease, so you assume all Auburn fans share the opinions as the most vocal.

most disappoint in order

USC light

AU-I had them 11-0 going into IB

LSU

TAMU-I had them winning just a few so this not a huge surprise

UF-I did not have UF high on my pre season picks. but I did have USC winning the East.

You guys are not going to really compete until you get a defense. At least in 2010 you had a good pass rush which masked a very poor secondary.
