Doing well, ma'am!!! It has been a minute. Hope you've been well, too! Congrats on the win over LSU last week btw!

Aggiebelle gets back from her deployment today so I am basically useless at work right now

Oh wow!! YAAAYYY!! ... I bet you're super excited!!! ... How long has she been gone? ... Hope y'all get off together for the Thanksgiving holiday!!

And thanks!! ... Yeah, I was completely stoked about the W, but my son, who bleeds purple & gold, was extremely bummed, especially after the Bama fiasco, so I did feel bad for him, & a few of my close Tiger friends, but hell, we've been disappointed long enough. They'll get over it.

I've been super, super busy. Trying to get ready to move back to Arkansas, get loose ends tied up, things lined up in Arky, doing the "mom" things, just life & whatnot. So much to do, but can't wait to get back home, permanently!!

ETA - Oh hell, just read that Thanksgiving sentence!!! ... That did not come out the way I intended. ... I hope y'all get time off together for Thanksgiving.

I didn't read it that way the first time, but the re-read has me rolling

Is it greedy that I'm hoping for both?

Oh wow, "whoop!" for moving back home permanently!!! Good luck with the move and all that goes with it. That's gotta be exciting!

HA!! Nah, I hope y'all get both too ... Pretty positive one is a sure bet.

Thanks, Tbird!! ... I'm hoping we're turning the corner. I'm really encouraged by the improvement we've made, but the most impressive thing to me is the team's mentality. They're just a group of really good guys who have a lotta heart & don't give up, (with maybe the exception of one who shall remain nameless, but initials are BA & unfortunately plays a position that is rather important. Not a fan. ) ... And I'll always look forward to playing y'all frickers, even tho I needed oxygen and was screaming, cussing & crying, simultaneously, at the end of this year's game.

Yes, I am really grateful everything is working out & I'm able to take son & head home with my family. It's been WAAAYYY too long. Can't wait to get away from bad "mojo" around here. ... Getting ready to move is just such a bitch, but trying not to complain too much. Just excited to be getting the hell outta here with my son.

Always good qualities! We could use a little of that no-quit attitude on the A&M team these days. We didn't show a lot of character at all in our losses against Bama and State.

Hmmm, I was doing all the above, too That was stressful as hell, and I'm sure next year will be more of the same! I was happy we pulled off the upset (yes, that's what it was, in hindsight) tho since that's the only game I got to go to this year. Best part was hanging out with my little brother and his gf in DFW, tho

As someone who just turned 40, trust me when I say their mindset doesn't really change even well into their 30s. That's not to say all women are alike but I've seen the mindset you describe from an attractive 36 yo co-worker/friend of mine. She started dated a much younger guy in a different department in our company over 2 years ago. As far as I know he doesn't physically abuse her but he dominates her emotionally and makes her put up with a lot of sh## that she shouldn't have to. Yet she puts up with it despite all her friends and even herself admitting the guy is awful for her. This is an attractive woman with a degree from a top 25 university and a law degree and she puts up with all this crap when she could land just about any guy she wants. She just admitted one day that "he's just so good looking" (shakes head). I mean he's a decent looking guy but I don't see the great looking part.

I've almost given up trying to figure out women...lol. They say they want this and that yet they go for something completely different. The woman I took a complete "I don't give a s###" attitude with and acted cocky and borderline aholish with would drive multiple hours to see me the second I asked her to if I wanted her to but I have a conscience and don't believe in messing with people's feelings like that. I made it clear that I just want to be friends but I feel doing that is like dangling a steak in front of a hungry lion. It seems like up means down and left means right with most women. I'm convinced I'll never understand them...lol
